The Thousand Stars Foundation is offering various short courses on Tibetan, Mahayana Buddhism, and Asian Culture/Philosophy to the general public at the Foundation House, Ladprao 11.

Basic Tibetan I
Instructors: Aj. Yontan (Meu Yontan Tongdrol) and Dr. Krisadawan Hongladarom
Affiliation: The Thousand Stars Foundation
Media of instruction: Tibetan and Thai
30 hours, three times a week: Wednesdays, Fridays 18.30-20.30 hrs. Sundays 16.00-18.00 hrs.
This course emphasizes the relationship between language and culture and aims to equip the students with basic skills, namely speaking, listening, reading, writing including translating. We'll read a basic prayer in Tibetan as well.
For those who are interested only in reading and translating Buddhist texts, we hope to offer such a course in the near future.
