The Tara Great Stupa for Peace and Harmony Project, Thousand Stars Foundation is pleased to invite interested persons to join our annual Stupa day

Great Offerings for Compassion and Happiness
Presided by Latri Khenpo Geshe Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche
25-26 September 2010
Khadiravana Center (Kundrol Ling)
Nongplub District, Hua-Hin

All is welcome to participate in ancient Tibetan ceremonies by making “Namnga Tongchod” 5000 great offerings to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, attending long-life empowerment and receiving blessings for good luck and happiness in life. There will also be teachings and other merit making activities including the releasing of 100,000 fishes conducted by Latri Khenpo Geshe Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche, world-leading spiritual teacher and Bonpo Dzogchen master.

“Namnga Tongchod” or 5000 offerings consist of lamp, incense, water, fruit and flower, 1000 each. The offerings represent pure faith in the Triple Gems. Each has a separate benefit: Lamp gives light to remove ignorance. Incense destroys impurities. Water quenches thirst and represents a pure offering to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Fruit removes hunger and brings auspiciousness to earth. Flower symbolizes beautiful and pleasant offerings.

There are no registration fees. Donations are greatly appreciated. Food and simple accommodation will be provided. Those who need transportation can travel in a van arranged by the Foundation, with the cost of 600 baht per round trip: Bangkok-Khadiravana Center-Kaeng Krajan Dam-Bangkok.
